FAKE NEWS: NY Times Dusts Off Debunked ‘Blood Libel’ Against Sarah Palin After Scalise Shooting

Republican Representative Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, and two Capitol Police were shot during baseball practice on Wednesday morning.

Scalise was shot in the hip and tried to drag himself off the field after he was shot.

The shooter, James T. Hodgkinson was a Bernie supporter who was obsessed with Trump-Russia conspiracy theories. He is now dead.

Hodgkinson asked lawmakers, “Are those Republicans or Democrats?” before gunning down Rep. Scalise and his security detail.

In addition to Scalise, those shot were Matt Mika, the director of government relations for the Washington office of Tyson Foods and a former congressional staff member who was shot twice in the chest; Zachary Barth, a staffer for Rep. Roger Williams (R-TX), who was hit in the leg by a bullet and was treated and released; two Capitol Police officers who were part of Scalise’s security detail were wounded in the attack: Officer Crystal Griner was shot in the ankle, Officer David Bailey sustained minor injuries and was also treated and released.

Now this…
The New York Times revived their blood libel against Sarah Palin in order to equate Republican and Democrat behavior.
SICK.

Breitbart.com reported:

The New York Times published an editorial Wednesday evening about the attack on Republicans earlier that day in which it claimed falsely that Sarah Palin incited the 2011 Tucson shooting, and that the killer had political motives.

The Times‘ editorial, “America’s Lethal Politics,” will appear in the print edition of Thursday’s newspaper. It argues that political violence will continue unless President Donald Trump and the Republicans stop opposing gun control.

Along the way, the Times claims [original link]:

Was this attack evidence of how vicious American politics has become? Probably. In 2011, when Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in a supermarket parking lot, grievously wounding Representative Gabby Giffords and killing six people, including a 9-year-old girl, the link to political incitement was clear. Before the shooting, Sarah Palin’s political action committee circulated a map of targeted electoral districts that put Ms. Giffords and 19 other Democrats under stylized cross hairs.

After the Arizona shooting the far left media went in overdrive to blame the shooting by a deranged killer to Republican rhetoric.

One in three Americans (35% ) believe that Sarah Palin was responsible for the shootings in Tucson by an anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, left-wing, pro-Marx, antiflag, “quite liberal” lunatic who hated Bush.

Loughner was targeting Rep. Giffords for four years before the shooting.
