BREAKING: Two Charged With Attempted Murder in Stabbing of Alt-Right Body Guard *Updated*
**Update** The two suspects are not Armenian gang members. This appears to be a road rage incident that turned into an altercation and ultimately ended in a stabbing according to a spokesman for LAPD.
A Trump supporter is at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after being stabbed by two men, Edgar Khodzhasaryan, 30, of Glendale, and Arsen Bekverdyan, 31, of Burbank.
27-year-old Antonio “Tony” Foreman had just left a free speech rally in California alongside a slew of other well-known Trump supporters such as Kyle Chapman (“Based Stick Man“). Afterward, they headed to a local bar to relax. After a few hours at the bar, the group — many dawning Trump hats and supportive bumper stickers on their vehicles – decided to retire for the night. That is when things took a turn for the worse.
The LA Times reports:
Prosecutors did not file a hate crime enhancement with the charges, Ardalani said. Lt. Saul Rodriguez, a Santa Monica Police Department spokesman, said the attack was spurred by an argument.
“There’s nothing here that would lead us to believe it was targeted or a hate crime or anything like that,” Rodriguez said.
Khodzhasaryan and Bekverdyan were exiting the parking structure and attempting to call for a parking attendant to help them operate the gate around 11 p.m. on Saturday when the victim “made a comment to the suspects which led to an argument,” Rodriguez said.
All three men exited their vehicles and a fistfight erupted, Rodriguez said. The suspects fled a short time later, and the victim realized he had been stabbed, according to Rodriguez. The victim, whom Rodriguez would not identify, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Khodzhasaryan and Bekverdyan were arrested a short time later while being treated for minor injuries at an area hospital, Rodriguez said. Khodzhasaryan is also suspected of a probation violation.
Both were being held in lieu of $1 million bail, and were scheduled to be arraigned in the Airport Courthouse on Tuesday afternoon, Ardalani said. It was not immediately clear who was representing them.
After being in surgery for 12 hours and being told he might not live, Tony Foreman is still in the hospital. When we reached out directly for comment, Tony expressed his shock at the entire encounter.
The folks at WeSearchr have kindly set up a fundraiser for his hospital expenses that you can donate to here:
Note to our readers: I am well aware that since the weekend this is the third WeSearcher referral I’ve written about. It is, perhaps a disgusting happenstance that three cases have come up where we’ve seen conservatives rebel against leftist violence and now fall victim to it. Hopefully, we can all support these patriots and we thank WeSearcher for allowing them to state their case and ask for support. In Tony’s specific case, I have discovered he does not have medical insurance – hence his higher than average minimum. Tony has previously volunteered as a bodyguard for multiple conservatives in media. We pray for him and wish him a complication-free recovery.
