Former FBI Director James Comey’s opening statement was released on Wednesday less than 24 hours before Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.
Comey will tell the committee he assured President Trump that he was not under investigation.

Comey will also tell the committee that President Trump ‘did not pressure him’ to drop his investigation of General Mike Flynn.
President Trump reviewed Comey’s statement today and told his lawyer he believes he is “totally vindicated” by James Comey’s statements.
