NK News reported:
North Korea launched multiple missiles towards the Sea of Japan (East Sea) from near the eastern coastal city of Wonsan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said on Thursday morning.
The JCS said that the projectiles are assumed to be surface to sea cruise missiles, and that they flew 200km.
“North Korea launched unidentified multiple projectiles -which have been presumed to be short-range cruise surface to ship missiles – toward the East Sea,” a statement from the JCS read, adding that President Moon Jae-in, was immediately notified of the events as is protocol.
“The South and the U.S. are in the process of analyzing the details for additional information,” the statement added.
