President Trump made a detour to Arlington National Cemetery right after his speech for Memorial Day. Trump visited section 60 which is the burial ground dedicated to military personnel killed fighting the war on terror.
Families were overcome with emotion when President Trump thanked them for the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence shook hands with and hugged family members who lost loved ones fighting in the war on terror. One mother in particular was moved to tears when she asked President Trump to remember her son Jimmy.

Mother of fallen Marine: “Jimmy knew he wasn’t coming home and he said, ‘Mama I hope that people don’t forget that I ever lived’. And if you could remember just ‘Jimmy’ that would mean so much to me.”
President Trump comforted the heartbroken mother and told her that her son was looking down her and was very happy.
God Bless President Trump, our fallen heroes and their families.
