FLASHBACK CHRIS MATTHEWS: ‘A Lot’ In Trump’s Tax Returns That He Doesn’t Want Us To See “Like Not Paying Taxes”

Remember when Chris Mathews said that Trump wasn’t releasing his taxes because he doesn’t want us to see that he “doesn’t pay taxes”.

Matthews said in a segment last week that Trump was a tax dodger.

“President Trump wouldn’t release his tax returns during his campaign, but political pressure’s building for the president to just that, at least turn it over to the Intelligence Committee so they can look at it. We’re going to talk about that, and a lot more in ‘Hardball.’ By the way, he’s not going to give away those tax returns. We can pound on that door, and pound on that door, and he ain’t giving them away, because there’s a lot in there he doesn’t want us to know, like how about not paying taxes?”

Leaked tax returns were displayed on MSNBC last night from 2005.  They showed Trump actually payed $38 million in taxes.

Chris and all the other sore loser Democrats must be pretty upset by this revelation.  All these tax returns did was debunk the fake news narrative that our lying media spread, suggesting Trump did not “pay taxes” and that is why he was “hiding his returns.”

The irony also comes when you look at how much the MSNBC host themselves pay in taxes

A Heat Street review of public records show that a total of six current, prominent MSNBC pundits have recently settled federal or state tax liens, while one still has tax problems. Moreover, at least two other hosts who recently left the network have also had massive tax liens filed against them.

The Rev. Al Sharpton — MSNBC’s Sunday morning host — easily comes in first place when it comes to “issues” with the taxman. He and his various entities—including several dissolved by New York for failure to pay taxes—currently owe about $1.5 million in state and federal taxes, interest and penalties, according to public records.
