Yesterday Gateway Pundit (GWP) White House reporter, Lucian Wintrich, was accosted, harassed and abused in the White House Press room shortly before the White House Presser. Fox News Radio employee Jon Decker was the perpetrator. According to Wintrich, Decker pushed him in a back room and grabbed him by the arm and started screaming to the entire press room that Wintrich was a “Nazi” and the Gateway Pundit website is a “white supremacist” publication.
The far left main stream media (MSM) was quick to support Decker in his assault. Politico published a piece by Hadas Gold that reported that Decker sent an email to the entire White House reporter email listserv noting that the White House “has admitted Gateway Pundit into today’s White House Press Briefing.”
Hadas pointed out that the MSM is threatened by the GWP reporter and noted the press room supported Decker’s attack:
Props to Jon Decker for speaking up in the press room. It would be much harder for a minority reporter to speak up like he did,” the correspondent said. “As a member of the WHCA board and as a white man him standing up and saying that meant a lot to reporters in the room.”
Politico noted that BuzzFeed White House correspondent Adrian Carrasquillo tweeted:
Fox News Radio John Decker just loudly told everyone in briefing room that Gateway Pundit is here ‘They hate blacks, Jews, Hispanics.’ Wild
Politico next reported that Decker denied he accosted Wintrich:
Earlier today I had a conversation with a representative from the online publication Gateway Pundit,” Decker said in a statement. “The conversation was straightforward and direct. I also informed the full White House pool that this representative was present in the Briefing Room. At no time did I accost or assault this individual. More than a dozen witnesses will attest to this fact.”
Politico finished with a piece from a Washington Post reporter that claimed the GWP posted fake news.
What we saw yesterday was the mainstream liberal media doing what it always does – attack conservatives by calling them vile, disgusting names, lie and then play the victim.
Enough is enough!
I’ve personally watched Jim Hoft at the The Gateway Pundit build his online media publication into one of the most influential conservative websites in the US and arguably the largest political site in the Midwest. He started with no funding and only a desire to share the truth. Daily he wrote about the little guy or the individuals who stood for truth and liberty that were not being discussed in the MSM because they were conservative or the message didn’t fit the liberal agenda.
Daily Jim posted stories since 2004 that were omitted in the MSM or altered to a liberal point of view. He slowly gained notoriety through perseverance and a great product. The more successful he got the more rewards and also the more attacks.
Decker’s name calling couldn’t be further from the truth. Lucian is not a Nazi or Jew hater and neither is Jim. Lucian’s family fled Nazi Germany. Also, a few years ago one group flew Jim and a couple select other conservative writers, including Andrew Breitbart, to Israel to show them the challenges the tiny nation had in protecting themselves from radical Islam. Jim then met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and shares a picture of this visit on his website.
Jim is also a role model for the gay conservative and shows more courage than any FOX Radio hack. Since 2004 the Gateway Pundit has been the beacon of hope for conservatives seeking a reprieve from the liberal MSM. But as his numbers have grown, the attacks from the left have increased.
Jim has always demanded integrity in his articles and when corrections are necessary as they sometimes are in the media business, he makes them quickly. But his work is so much more accurate than the ‘fake news’ the MSM spews daily. This is why GWP readership is growing at an astronomical rate. The GWP predicted a Trump win while the MSM carried ‘corrupt’ Hillary and ‘criminal’ Obama. The GWP daily shares the stories not in the MSM (e.g. today’s US Debt decreasing under Trump, Obama has wire tapped before, etc.). While the rest of the liberal media continues to run with factless Russian conspiracies The Gateway Pundit knows this is all bunk. This is why the GWP is successful, not because it is fascist, but rather because it stands up to the fascist liberal bullies in the mainstream media by sharing the truth that they do not want to be shared.
The GWP is “Where Hope Made a Comeback” and always will be.
