At least 46 Muslim clerics issued a fatwa against 16 year-old singer Nahid Afrin after she performed songs against terrorism and ISIS.
The clerics want Afrin to stop all performances in public. It’s un-Islamic.

Bhaskar.com reported:
A fatwa has been issued by 46 Muslim cleric in Assam against up-and-coming singer Nahid Afrin asking her to stop all her performance in public.
The 16-year-old girl, who was the first runner-up of a musical reality TV show in 2015, recently had been performing songs against terrorism and ISIS, and police is investigation whether the fatwa was issued as a reaction to it.
Leaflets in Assamese bearing the fatwa were reportedly distributed across two distrcits — Hojai and Nagaon — in central Assam on March 14.
The fatwa that has been issued claims that the upcoming programme at Udali Sonai Bibi College in Lanka, Assam, on March 25, where Nahid is set to perform, is against the Sharia.
A report claim that the fatwa said, “If anti-Sharia acts like musical nights are held on grounds surrounded by masjids, idgahs, madrassas and graveyards, our future generations will attract the wrath of Allah.”
