After the November 8th election Republicans hold their largest majorities of power since the founding of the party in the 1800s.
Thank you, Barack Obama!
In 2010 Democrats lost the House to Republicans.
In 2014 Democrats lost the Senate to Republicans.
In 2016 Democrats lost the presidency to Republicans.
Republicans increased their control in state legislatures leaving Democrats with their lowest level since the Civil War.
Obama blamed “geography” for the loss.
Rich Edson from FOX News was the first reporter since the election to ask Barack Obama about the historic losses suffered by the Democrat Party under his leadership.
Obama responded:
Some of that is the nature of our system and geography. As long as Wyoming gets the same number of senators as California there’s going to be some tilt toward Republicans when it comes to representative races. The fact that a lot of Democrat voters are bunched up in cities and a lot of Republican voters are spread out.
Did you know?
TRUMP won 2597 counties 84%
Clinton won only 486 counties 16%
The media won't report this.
