On Monday President Barack Obama ordered flags be set at half-staff through Friday, July 22nd to mourn the murder by a Black Lives Matter supporter of three Baton Rouge police officers on Sunday.

Tuesday morning the Obama administration promoted First Lady Michelle Obama’s scheduled appearance overnight on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ on the Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS.

The Obama spokeswoman included a retweet of an Entertainment Weekly article about the show.

A promotional video of Obama’s appearance was posted to YouTube by the Late Late Show.
People Magazine gushed about the show:
“I rarely get to listen to music in the car,” Obama tells Corden in a preview clip released late Monday. “I’ve been in a car – maybe it was months ago – with my daughter, learning to drive. That was the only time in seven and a half years that I’ve been in the passenger’s seat listening to music, rocking out like this.”

And rock out she will! The 52-year-old will be jamming out to Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” and Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” – even dancing along to the latter’s iconic dance.
