Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos joined Dave Rubin on The Rubin Report this past week to discuss the US election, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.
Yiannopoulos went off on Rubin after the host called crazy Socialist Bernie Sanders “a good person.”
Dave Rubin: I think sometimes you can be a decent person and be wrong…
Milo Yiannopoulos: And be wrong about everything… Why is it that just because someone is old and left-wing that they’re nice? We don’t say that about right-wingers. Why do we automatically assume that just because he’s old and doddery, has white hair and he sounds like a crazy old lunatic that he’s a nice guy. Really? Is he a nice guy? No he wants Socialism in America. That’s poisonous, ugly, oppressive political philosophy that has made people suffer everywhere that it has ever been tried… Why is he a nice person? What has he ever done that proves he is a nice person?
Yiannopoulos also had a message for Trump-hating lestists – Trump is a direct creation of the progressive left.
“I think a [Trump presidency] would destroy the Republican party, they will never win another election. I think the same thing will happen on the left,” he continued. “I want a new political re-alignment on libertarian-authoritarian lines rather than left and right. I want a new consensus to emerge of disaffected liberals, classical liberals, dissident minorities, small-state conservatives, libertarians — people who want to be left alone. People who believe that government should have some limited functions, but our culture should not be policed, our language should not be policed. We should be able to do, be, say, think, and act however we please.”
