Former Senator Bob Dole went on with Neil Cavuto on Friday.
Dole, the former Republican nominee for president, slammed the freshman Texas Senator.
“He doesn’t have a single senator supporting him. If that doesn’t speak volumes to the voters of South Carolina… He’s self-absorbed. He’s got this giant ego. He’s overly ambitious. He entered the senate as a Canadian citizen.“
He’s right.
Cruz entered the US Senate in 2013. He renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014.
