GOP Debates on CNN Crush Obama’s Town Hall Ratings
Compared to the two Republican presidential debates on CNN, Barack Obama’s gun control town hall got crushed in the ratings. The President’s two hour-long appearance with Anderson Cooper on Thursday managed 2.4 million viewers. In comparison, a staggering 23.1 million people tuned in for CNN’s GOP debate in September.
The September 16 event became the most-watched event in CNN’s history, rivaling NFL football. On December 15, another GOP debate scored 18 million viewers. According to CNN.com, it became the third-most-watched primary debate of all time.
In other words, the event lagged way behind the Republican debates.
Who, besides committed leftists, even wants to hear Obama talk on TV anymore?
