An airport police officer in Des Moines, Iowa, is under proverbial fire for an errant discharge from his gun. The officer was practicing a “quick draw” technique, and had his finger on the trigger.
Officer Brady Pratt, 23, of Des Moines, said he was standing near fridge, facing the west wall when he drew his duty weapon from his holster to practice his “quick draw” skills, according to a police report.

He “unknowingly had his finger on the trigger and discharged a round into the ceiling tile.”
No one was hurt, and no report yet on what disciplinary actions may be taken against Officer Pratt.
