British schools have been urged to cancel proposed trips to France until Sunday.
BRITISH schools have been urged to cancel proposed trips to France following the weekend’s terror attacks in Paris.
The Foreign Office said there should be no group tours for children across the Channel until the end of the weekend.
Terror-hit Paris declared a state of emergency following the killing of 129 people in a series of assaults on the capital.
French education chiefs have ordered a ban on all national school trips and now the British Government has told its schools they should also scrap their plans.
It said: “As part of the national state of emergency, the French Ministry of Education has cancelled all school trips within France by French schools until Sunday.
“This includes excursions to cultural sites such as theatres and museums, as well as travel by school groups on public transport.
