Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a rally in Birmingham, Alabama Saturday afternoon at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
The crowd of several thousand broke into a chant of, “Build that wall! Build that wall!” as Trump spoke about some of the things he believes the country has to do ‘make America great again.’

“…So what happens, so what happens is we really need that ability because we have to take our country back. We have to bring our jobs back. We have to bring trade back. We have to repeal Obamacare. We have to replace it with something great; we have to, we have to.
“We have to establish borders and we have to build a wall! We have to build a wall! We have to, and we will. And it’ll be a great wall. It will be a great wall!”
The crowd responded with sustained chants of, “Build that wall! build that wall!”

Kyle Whitmire, State Political Columnist for the Alabama Media Group, live tweeted the Trump speech from the press pen. He posed an apt question about the enthusiastic reception for Trump in Birmingham.
