A hitman for the Texas Mexican Mafia admitted he was involved in 16 murders including the murder of Balcones Heights Police Officer Julian Pesina.

Ruben Reyes murdered three top gang members for allegedly mishandling $60,000.

The Texas Mexican Mafia also known as La Mexikanemi, was founded in the Texas prison system in the 1980s.
Chron.com reported:

A purported hit man for the Texas Mexican Mafia has admitted he was involved in 16 murders for the gang, including carrying out or ordering the slayings of fellow gang members and a police officer.

Ruben “Menace” Reyes, 36, made the admission recently during a hearing in which federal authorities said he is suspected in twice as many killings. He did not specify which slayings he was involved in when questioned by Senior U.S. District Judge David Alan Ezra, but court records state he took out three high-ranking members of his gang and may have passed down orders targeting Balcones Heights Police Officer Julian Pesina.

Three other purported members of the gang are charged in connection with Pesina’s death.

He’s ugly too.
