Muslim Invasion of Europe Turns Deadly: Afghan Killed in Mob Shootout on Bulgaria-Turkey Border

The Muslim Invasion of Europe of 2015 turned deadly on October 15 as a mob of over forty men, all or mostly from Afghanistan, engaged in a gun battle with Bulgarian police as the men tried to enter Bulgaria from the border with Turkey, leaving one invader killed and forty-eight arrested.

An excerpt from a report from Bulgaria’s 24chasa.bg translated by Google (h/t John Schindler):

“One person was killed in a shooting at the Bulgarian-Turkish border near Sredets, Burgas.

“The incident occurred after 40 people, most of them Afghans, have tried to illegally enter the country.

“They were armed and entered in a shootout with law enforcement officers. It was one of the killed migrants forward bTV.

“Refugees have not obeyed an order and border guards were forced to fire. Wounded a man who subsequently died, confirmed for Nova TV Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Georgi Kostov.

“The incident occurred at 22 hours. 48 people were arrested.”

Sky News said the gunfire by border guards would be the first such incident in the months-long Muslim invasion of Europe. Hundreds of thousands of mostly military age men from the Middle East, Africa and Asia have invaded Europe starting in 2014 by crossing the Mediterranean Sea and then with a concurrent land invasion in 2015.

DPA reported all the invaders in the Bulgarian attack were men.

“A fight and exchange of gunfire broke out after border authorities tried to seize around 40 illegal immigrants who had crossed the border between Turkey and Bulgaria, the source said on condition of anonymity.

“All of the migrants were men, some of them armed, the source said, noting that based on preliminary information, all of them are believed to be Afghans. An investigation is underway.”

AFP reported a somewhat different version of the incident partly based on a Bulgarian radio report.

“”A big group of illegal migrants attempted to enter Bulgaria from Turkey. One man suffered a gunshot wound in the incident and died on the way to hospital,” an interior ministry spokeswoman told AFP.

“The incident happened near the southeastern Bulgarian town of Sredets Thursday evening, she said, adding that the dead migrant was from Afghanistan.

“Public BNR radio cited ministry sources as saying that the group of 48 illegal migrants from Afghanistan was armed and aggressive and refused to obey an order by the Bulgarian border guards to stop and turn back.

“The man was either wounded by a ricochet when police fired warning shots in the air or he was directly shot at, the radio said.

“The ministry has not confirmed the report.”
