Pope Opens Homily in NYC By Sending Special Prayer to Mecca “I Unite Myself With You All” (VIDEO)

Pope Francis tonight opened his Vespers homily at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City with a prayer for his Muslim brothers at the Haj.

Pope Francis:

“I am close and my sentiments are close. I am thinking of them. I am close to them in the face of tragedy and the tragedy they suffered in Mecca. My assurances in their prayers. I unite myself in pray to Almighty God.”
