Sometimes, the tone-deafness of the Obama administration goes beyond the valley of good taste. Other times, it’s so stunning that you shake your head in disbelief.
Just before 5 pm Thursday as most of the country was learning that people on a military base in Tennessee, including decorated Marines, were shot and killed by an Islamic terrorist, the White House twitter account celebrated a Muslim holiday.
The message reads “From my family to yours, Eid Mubarak!” —@POTUS to Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr” and includes a long personalized message from the president and the first lady.
