Panels at O’Fallon Memorial Monument Destroyed Over Weekend

The 15 panel O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument is the largest in the area and is located on a beautifully landscaped acre of ground.

FOX 2 Now reported:

O’Fallon, IL city employees discovered Monday morning that two large stone name panels from the city’s Veterans’ Monument had been toppled and smashed sometime over the weekend. It could cost the city $10,000 to replace them.

O’Fallon police are investigating the damage as a crime. A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
