Nepalese officials were outraged after they received several packages of cow meat in relief supplies from Pakistan.
Eating beef is taboo in the majority Hindu Himalayan country.

Pakistan is facing severe criticism for sending cow meat in relief material to the earthquake-hit Nepal.
The majority-Hindu country worship cows and treats them as sacred and there is a blanket ban on slaughtering the animalNepal has started an internal inquiry and the matter will be raised with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Indian national organisation RSS has hit out at Pakistan for sending beef masala Nepal. Talking to the media people, senior RSS leader Dattatreya Hosable said: ‘This is highly insensitive and condemnable.
Pakistan being nasty in the hour of crisis by sending beef masala as quake relief material..!! How low can they stoop..!!! sic
