A Muslim man in East Delhi was beaten to death for not using a mat to offer Namaz afternoon prayer.

A man was allegedly beaten to death by his relatives for not using a mat to offer Namaz prayers. The incident took place in East Delhi on Friday evening.
According to the police report, 42-year-old Mansoob Khan was beaten to death by Hanif and his relatives. His elder brothers, Sultan and Mukhtar, were also injured in the attack. All the inured persons were rushed to the Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) hospital. Mansoob Khan was declared brought dead there.

The incident occurred when Mansoob’s brothers objected to him using the mat gifted to him by Hanif, a relative who lived in the same neighbourhood but with whose family they had some earlier disputes.
When Hanif got to know that his mat was not being used, he, along with some other family members, reached Mansoob’s house. After a heated argument, Hanif and his family attacked Mansoob and his brothers.
