A man and woman were charged Thursday for robbing the Family Dollar in February at gunpoint for laundry detergent.
KSDK reported:

A man and a woman are charged for allegedly robbing a local Family Dollar store at gunpoint for detergent last month.

Shaneick Golden, 21, and Kadeem Noland, 22, are each charged with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of armed criminal action.

The robbery happened shortly before 1 p.m. Feb. 11 when an employee saw Golden and Noland walk toward the back of the store while a third person waited near the front door.

Police say the employee recognized Golden and Noland as prior theft suspects, and when she confronted them, Noland pointed a gun at her. The pair are accused of grabbing several bottles of detergent before fleeing the store in an older-model sedan.

Some Family Dollar stores in St. Louis now demand that customers remove their hoods before entering the store.
