Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi is best known for stating that “We must pass the bill (Obamacare) to find out what’s in it”.

But on Representative Pelosi’s 75th birthday this Thursday, it would appear that she was suffering from a small case of memory loss as now she claims that Obamacare was really “All about value”:

“What a way to celebrate a birthday than with a wish coming true that we could work together to get the job done for the American people.

“I was just listening to the Speaker’s speech on the floor and it was very encouraging to hear.

“Since 2003 Congress has spent $170,000 on short-term SGR patches. People don’t understand those short-term patches are more expensive than addressing the issue in a macro way.

“We are transferring Medicare away from a volume based system towards one that rewards value. This is really important.

“This was what the Affordable Care Act was all about; Value not volume. Performance not procedures Quality not quantity of procedures. And again if it makes people healthier that’s the most important thing. But it also lowers cost.”

Video below (00:00-1:07):

Obamacare has been of such a great “value” to the American people that over 52% of U.S. citizens oppose it, millions have lost insurance plans they loved, and insurance premiums have soared.

But maybe the value Representative Pelosi is referring to is Socialist in nature since the majority of those who have enrolled in Obamacare did so through the Medicaid expansion …which is exactly the same technique that was used to transform Canada into a single-payer healthcare system. And, coincidentally, what Senator Harry Reid said Obamacare would do….
