John Boehner Wins Third Term as Speaker of 114th Congress – 25 Defections
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) won election as Speaker of the House for the 114th Congress.
At least two dozen Republicans voted against the speaker, diminishing somewhat what should have been a day of euphoria for the party.
