A gunman has taken at least two hostages at Tomball Regional Medical Center.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is responding to a hostage situation at the Tomball Regional Medical Center on 613 Holderrieth Boulevard on Saturday.
Authorities were not able to say how many hostages have been taken at this time.
At least one of the hostages is believed to be a patient in the critical-care unit, officials said.
ABC 13 reported: The scene is unfolding on 605 Holderrieth Boulevard. It’s unclear confirm how many hostages are involved in the incident.

The hospital is currently closed.
UPDATE: The father is distraught and barricaded himself in his son’s hospital room.
