Obama Finally Releases Statement 22 Hours After NYC Police Officers Are Murdered – Golfs Instead
As of this writing, about 10:30 AM on Sunday morning, there have been no official statements issued on behalf of or by President Barack Obama regarding the execution of two New York City police officers on Saturday.
This is the same president who met with top Ferguson activists and Al Sharpton at the White House in November and told them to “stay the course.”
President Obama also met with Ferguson activists in the White House again in December, less than a week after protesters looted and torched Ferguson businesses to the ground, to discuss police violence.
In contrast Obama rushed out a statement within hours of the May 31, 2009 assassination of prominent abortionist George Tiller.
The president was out golfing.
UPDATE: (Noon Sunday) There is still no official statement from Barack Obama on the shooting deaths of the two New York City police officers.
However, an the president did issue a late night response after his golf game.
