A body was found this morning near the Canfield Green Apartments near where Michael Brown was fatally shot.
Police have declared it a “suspicious death” at this time.
KSDK reported:

A body was found near Canfield Green Apartments Tuesday after violence broke out in Ferguson Monday night.

That’s the apartment complex where Michael Brown was fatally shot by police officer Darren Wilson. Monday, the grand jury’s decision to not indict Wilson sparked protests and riots throughout the greater St. Louis area and nationwide.

The body was found on the 9400 block of Glen Owen in Ferguson, near the intersection of Windwood and Glen Owen around 9 Tuesday morning.

A citizen reported that an unresponsive man was inside a parked vehicle at that location, according to St. Louis County police.

Police say the body is a male. His identity is unknown at this time.

Police are currently calling this a suspicious death until further evidence is examined.

UPDATE: The Post-Dispatch has more on the shooting.

Ferguson resident Richard Taylor, who lives nearby on Samana Drive, said he saw four people with guns outside of his apartment Monday night who were talking about looting and saying they wanted to kill someone.
