Once again, the grievance mongers in the St. Louis region are calling for a revolution, a war against police.

However, the “innocent 18 year-old with a sandwich” narrative is not accurate.

Filing:
THE ABOVE DEFENDANT WAS ACTIVATED ON ELECTRONIC MONITORING HOUSE ARREST/GPS ON JULY 8,2014. EMASS WILL NOTIFY THE COURT IF ANY VIOLATIONS OCCUR.
Vonderrit Myers Jr. had an electronic monitor and was house arrest.
GPS monitoring shows the officers real-time images of where their defendants are, and whether they are abiding by curfews or geographical orders of protection.
The ankle monitor could be how the officer’s attention was drawn to Vonderrit. It could be another reason he had the lopsided run that Chief Dotson mentioned in his press conference.
UPDATE: Here is a court document from one of Myers’s previous arrests.
