Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft: St. Louis Protests Make ‘No Sense’ (NewsMax Video)

The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft was a guest on “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.

Today Jim and Steve spoke about the protests and rioting in St. Louis this past weekend.

NewsMax reported:

Protests in St. Louis after the fatal shooting of a black teenager by an off-duty white police officer make “absolutely no sense,” says Jim Hoft, founder of and chief blogger at The Gateway Pundit.

Vonderrit Myers Jr. was shot dead last Wednesday 16 miles from Ferguson, where two months ago unarmed black man Michael Brown, 18, was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson.

“There’s just no common sense involved with this at all. This latest victim, he had been arrested previously. He already had at least two felonies on his record. He’s only 18,” Hoft said Monday on “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.

He was supposed to be under house arrest, but a lenient judge lowered his bail and allowed him back on the street. [He] was tracked by police and allegedly shot at the officer three times before he was shot dead.

“It’s really hard to feel sorry for this kid because he also was using a stolen gun, by the way. It’s amazing that they would rally around such a character when he was obviously on the wrong track and this was bound to happen to someone whose actions were just so indefensible.”
