Update: Officials Discuss Housing Syrian & Iraqi Refugees in South St. Louis
A local St. Louis Catholic church closed it’s school last year and now wants to use it to house illegal aliens.
A community meeting was held Wednesday at the Carondelet YMCA Rec Center in south St. Louis City.
The organizers announced the feds would be moving in Iraqis, Syrians and Afghanis to south St. Louis City.
This went over like a lead balloon.

The Democratic Aldermen and a representative from St. Francis Community Services discussed future plans for the Immaculate Heart of Mary School.
The representative insisted no illegal alien children from Central America would be housed at the former school.
The group has kept the news a secret from the community until recently.
