Protesters in Ferguson attacked police cars and looted a QuickTrip tonight following the death of 18 year-old Michael Brown by police on Saturday.

KTVI reported:

There are unconfirmed reports of looting and protestors damaging police cars in Ferguson.

Shortly before 8:30 pm Sunday night vehicles at the intersections sustained damage allegedly from protesters near West Florissant and Ferguson Avenue.

A large crowd had gathered at the intersection when trouble broke out.

Passenger vehicles and police cruisers were damaged. There are also unconfirmed reports that a QuikTrip is being damaged.

Police have responded with additional officers called to the scene.

Police rolled out armored vehicles to contain the violence.

More… Channel 2 reported a St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter was punched in the head by the mob tonight.

UPDATE: The protesters are now looting a tire store on Chambers Road. TV crews are filming the looting as it happens.

More random violence and destruction in Ferguson.

UPDATE: Via FOX 2 in St. Louis – Looters are taking hair extensions from a beauty supply store. Children as young as ten are taking part in the looting.

UPDATE: They just torched the QuickTrip has been torched!

There are reports the violence and looting has now spread to neighboring Dellwood.
AutoZone, Taco Bell and other businesses vandalized.
