Flashback: Obama Mocks McCain for Wanting to Keep Troops in Iraq (Video)

In 2008 Barack obama and Hillary Clinton mocked Senator John McCain for suggesting that US troops should stay in Iraq for another 50 to 100 years.

“Maybe 100. We’ve been in South Korea. We’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years, or so. That would be fine with me. As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. It’s fine with me. I hope it would be fine with you if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where Al-Qaeda is training, recruiting, equipping and motivating people every single day.”

Of course, Barack Obama immediately mocked McCain and distorted his comments.

“He is willing to send our troops into another 100 years of war in Iraq.”

President Barack Obama eventually withdrew all US troops from Iraq within three years in office.

Today Al-Qaeda has taken over northern Iraq and captured hundreds of US humvees and trucks.

All of the US sacrifice was for naught.
Thanks to Barack Obama.
