Employees at Serco Corporation in Wentzville, Missouri, outside of St. Louis, told reporters this week that they are being paid to do nothing.
The company is being paid by the government to process paper applications of those signing up for Obamacare. But, they are just sitting at their desk most of the day.
“There are some weeks that a data entry person would not process an application… They’re told to sit at their computers and hit the refresh button every ten minutes.”
Serco Inc. is a leading provider of professional, technology, and management services focused on the federal government.
