According to MSNBC, Democrats are frustrated with Obama over his lack of engagement and message for 2014.
John Harris, the Editor in Chief at Politico, told Morning Joe:
“Barack Obama who has more at stake than any other person in these midterm elections reviving his presidency depends a lot on preventing the Republicans from taking over the senate. There’s frustration among a lot of Democrats… which is they feel the president is not engaged with coming up with a coordinated Democratic strategy. He’s busy raising money which is a big thing that helps but he doesn’t seem personally invested in a strategy.”
Guy Cecil, who runs the Democratic Senate Campaign, has even said he’s had briefings with Bill Clinton but has not had any meetings yet with Obama.
