Far left New York Mayor Bill de Blasio will boycott the New York St. Pat’s Parade this year.
The NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the country’s oldest parade, over 250 years old.
The Washington Times reported, via Frontpage.com:

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says he won’t be marching in the nation’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parade this year in protest for gay rights.

The Democrat said he won’t march along Fifth Avenue because of organizers’ refusal to allow gay-pride signs in the parade, the Associated Press reported.

Organizers said gay-rights activists are allowed to march but cannot carry signs because it could take away from the parade’s focus on honoring Irish tradition.

Organizers predict more than 1 million people will attend on March 17.

But, de Blasio did march in the Gay Pride Parade. No problem.
