Far left eco-terrorists raided an exploratory iron ore drill site in July–
The radicals assaulted at least one worker in the raid at the Gogebic Taconite Company’s property.
This was insane.

Duluth News Tribune reported:

The security firm that made headlines for guarding exploratory drill sites in northern Wisconsin while dressed in camouflage and carrying assault rifles is coming back.

Arizona-based Bulletproof Securities had to leave the Penokee Range and the proposed iron ore mine site July 10, when the state found out the company was operating in Wisconsin without a license. The company applied for the license, and the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services issued it Monday.

Department Secretary Dave Ross said Bulletproof can come back anytime now and that an investigation of complaints against the company is complete.

Gogebic Taconite Company spokesman Bob Seitz said Bulletproof guards will return in rotation with other security firms GTac has hired.

“Bulletproof brings an ability to go into the woods and make sure the entire area of private property is secured,” Seitz said.

Bulletproof guards had been patrolling exploratory drilling sites and the area around it, but drilling ended about the same time Bulletproof was asked to leave the state. But Seitz said there’s still work to be done in the Penokee Hills by GTac surveyors.

“We have wetlands delineation, archeological delineation, hydrological work, surface water work, a lot of delineation of plant and animal species, things like that. So there’s a lot of individual work that goes on, just nothing that’s around one particular site.”
