Martin Luther King Jr – I Have A Dream Speech – August 28, 1963

50 years ago today, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr delivered his landmark “Dream” speech.

Over the last 50 years we’ve come a long way towards realizing MLK Jr’s dream. We still  have a long way to go to achieve equality in everyone’s hearts, in all American communities:

Nation’s only black Senator not invited to speak at March on Washington

UPDATE: Drudge has the headline…

Drudge MLK

UPDATE: From the the comments section…

Didn’t see the African American Supreme Court Justice up there. Did you ?

Maybe he was invited but couldn’t attend?

UPDATE: Also from the comments section…

The nation’s only two previous African-American secretaries of state also were not invited, as best as I can tell.
