A man dressed as an elf shot off an AR15 into the air at Bush Intercontinental Airport today. Then he pulled out a pistol and shot himself in the head.

A man shot himself inside Bush Intercontinental Airport in north Houston early Thursday afternoon, the Houston Police Department confirmed with KHOU 11 News.
HPD told KHOU 11 the shooting was self-inflicted and happened in a security checkpoint in Terminal B. It is unclear whether the man is still alive.
The suspect walked into the security checkpoint area inside Terminal B and fired at least two shots into the air, according to an HPD spokesperson.
An air marshal fired at the suspect, but missed. The man then pulled out a pistol and shot himself, according to an HPD captain.
FOX News reported that shooter was reportedly wearing an elf costume.
Houston KRIV reported that one man died in the shooting.
