This has to be the luckiest 15 year old on the planet.
15-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after falling 25-feet into a volcano after trying to perform an gymnastic stunt at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The teen, who is from California, tumbled down the steam vent after jumping over the protective railing near the crack in the earth Wednesday evening. [LINK]
It’s amazing any boy survives 15. In this case the kid spent an hour underground and only suffered cuts and bruises.
He’s especially lucky because the vent he fell in is normally 120 degrees, but because of recent rain was only 90 degrees when he fell in.
We’re tracking down a rumor that Jim Hoft, who fled Hawaii earlier today, might have had something to do with pushing the child over the railing.
