Syrian Democracy Activists to Obama & UN: “Are You Stupid? Or Are You Just Acting Stupid?”

As thousands of Syrians continue to be slaughtered in the streets by the Iranian-backed Assad regime, the Obama Administration repeatedly insists on supporting a ‘political solution’ to the mass slaughter. This is the same position Obama supported for Iraq during its darkest days.

The citizens of Kfarnebel have a message for Obama and the UN.
“Are you stupid? Or acting stupid? There is no logical person on this earth who actually believes there is a political solution.”

This citizen journalism image provided by Shaam News Network SNN, taken on Sunday, June 10, 2012 purports to show Syrians holding a poster in Arabic that reads, “are you stupid? or acting stupid? there is no logical person on this earth who actually believes there is a political solution,” during a demonstration in Kfarnebel, Idlib province, northern Syria. Syrian activists say tens of thousands of people have been killed since the uprising began in March 2011. The situation has grown increasingly chaotic in recent months, and it is difficult to assign blame for much of the bloodshed. The government restricts journalists from moving freely, making it nearly impossible to independently verify accounts from either side. (AP Photo/Raed al-Fares, Shaam News Network, SNN)

The Syrian activists are right. There is no political solution. And putting Kofi Annan in charge is like setting the world up for another Rwanda.
