Stunner… Kids at Blue Man Group’s Ultra-Lib Trendy School Can’t Read a Lick
And, Surprise!… The school is failing. The kids can’t read.
Who could have seen this coming?

The Progressive “Blue School” opened in the lower side of Manhattan in 2006. The charter school originally started out as a play group organized by a theater troupe and the school received its independent school charter in 2009. The school has no books, does not test their students, and there is no set arrival time for the students. The cost of this first rate progressive education is a whopping $32,000, not including the $510 “intelligence test” that is required.
But, surprisingly, there’s trouble in this progressive wonderland…
Teachers are now leaving and the principal is being replaced, because parents are complaining the school is unstructured and their children are not learning how to read. NY Post has more:
The Blue School is one big play date in desperate need of adult supervision.
Parents are yanking their kids out of the “progressive,” $32,000 per-year private school founded by the Blue Man Group — which has no books and no tests — because their kids are barely learning to read, The Post has learned.
One mother, who is yanking her son at the end of the school year, complained that the school is “unstructured.”
“It’s true,” she said when asked if her kid was struggling to read.
In all, she added, four of her son’s first-grade classmates are leaving the Financial District institution.
Another parent who dropped her first-grade son off yesterday said he’s not coming back next year — because he’s got nothing to do.
“When a 6-year-old says they’re bored, there’s a problem,” the mother said. “I think they bit off more than they can chew.”
Other moms have taken to a popular message board to vent.
“It’s all fun and games until you realize your second-grader can’t read,” a parent wrote on Urbanbaby.com.
The loons promised parents their school would provide children an education they “don’t have to recover from.” But, they will have to learn how to read at some point.
Don’t you wish you had the names of the libs who were duped into this sideshow? What the hell were they thinking?
