Disgusting!… Vandals Paint Sea of Swastikas in NY Neighborhood of Holocaust Survivors

Disgusting, sick, and cruel.
Swastikas were found painted all over a New York neighborhood of Holocaust survivors.

DNAInfo has the graffiti suspects caught on video walking out of a bookstore.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspects.

Vandals accused of scrawling swastikas on storefronts near Bryant Park were captured on security video footage.

The NYPD released film of four people wanted for the attacks on the Penguin Clothing Store, the Kinokuniya Bookstore and an office building, all on one block of Sixth Avenue.

It shows two females and two males leaving the book store on Sunday. It shows one of them stopping to draw a swastika.

MyFoxNY has more, including a plea for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers,

At least five swastikas were discovered Friday in various locations throughout Borough Park, Brooklyn.

A resident alerted Assemblyman Dov Hikind of one swastika on a synagogue on 16th Ave.

A search around the neighborhood turned up four more including one at a grocery store and another on a van, said Hikind.

What kind of sick person does this in a neighborhood of Holocaust survivors? This is yet another example of the type of hate crimes that result from bigoted rhetoric. There will be no tolerance for hatred here and our community will address this from top to bottom, added Hikind. …

The NYPD hate crimes unit is investigating.

Anyone with information about the person or persons who painted the anti-Semitic symbols is encouraged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers at any of the following:
