Thanks Barack… 80% of Americans Say They Are Not Better Off Today Than 4 Years Ago

In 2008 candidate Barack Obama released his “Defining Moment” ad. In the political ad Obama asked the question, “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”

It’s time to take another look at that question…
After three agonizing years of the Obama presidency, 80% of Americans say they are not better off today than they were when Obama took charge.

In today’s CBS News poll:

Compared to four years ago, is your family’s financial situation better today, worse today, or about the same?

The survey finds 20 percent say better today, 37 percent say worse today, and 43 percent say “about the same.”

No wonder Obama is tanking in the polls.
