As demonstrators chant and shout – voicing their opposition to Obama’s arrival – protest leader Muhammad Ismail Yusanto says the United States only plans to take advantage of its relationships with Asian countries.
[Muhammad Ismail Yusanto, Protest Leader]:
“Obama coming to Indonesia is in order to strengthen capitalism and imperialism in the Southeast Asia region, particularly Indonesia. Therefore through this movement, which is a way to show our concern for the future of this country, we urge the people to reject Obama.”
