Rep. Mike Simpson (R-ID), the co-sponsor of a House plan urging the Congressional supercommittee to be aggressive in their plan to cut the national debt, was on FOX News Sunday this morning. Rep. Simpson’s plan includes tax increases on the American public. This morning he told Chris Wallace:
“When I signed the pledge not to raise taxes… I didn’t know it was a marriage agreement that would last forever.”
Obviously.
Or, in other words – Rep. Simpson’s word means nothing.
