Commie Van Jones and Open Radical ‘Take Back American Dream’ Conference in DC

Commie Van Jones,, the SEIU, Center for American Progress and several other far left socialist groups will hold their “Take Back American Dream” conference today in Washington DC. The community organizers hope this will jump start their efforts to build an astroturf coalition to counter the tea party and help Obama get re-elected.‘s Robert Borosage, co-director of the Campaign for America’s Future, talked to Free Speech TV’s Thom Hartmann on his show, “The Big Picture,” about the Take Back The American Dream conference October 3-5 in Washington.

They hope to “Take Back the American Dream” by pushing their socialist policies.
The American Thinker has more on today’s conference:

The Obama Media reports Van Jones has planned an October revolution calling it an “American Autumn.” Comparing his call to arms to the Arab Spring, Jones told Lawrence O’Donnell of MSNBC “hold onto your hats. We’re gonna have an October offensive to take back the American Dream and to rescue America’s middle class.”

Jones and organized a conference for October 3 – 5 at the Washington Hilton on Connecticut Avenue “to save the American Dream.” Headliners on the Awards Gala list Drummond Pike of the Tides Foundation, and Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood of America.

Beginning last June, Jones started ramping up his latest project aimed against the Tea Party and in true modern “professional revolutionary” fashion he organized from his desktop. Sending emailed letters of appeal to like-minded activists, Jones laid the groundwork for his still unspecified revolution (unless he was behind the 700 Wall Street protestors just arrested on the Brooklyn Bridge). Jones in the interview with O’Donnell said:

You’re going to see an American fall, an American autumn, just like we saw the Arab Spring. You can see it right now with these young people on Wall Street. Hold onto your hats. We’ll have an October offensive to take back the American dream and to rescue America’s middle class.

And a Jones quote from Huffington Post:

A new generation has gone to the scene of the crimes committed against our future. The time has come for all people of good will to give our full-throated backing to the young people of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Back in the 1990’s Jones was the leader and founder of the radical communist organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM).
