Obama: Odds Are, I’ll Get Re-Elected

It’s as if the Massachusetts senate election never happened.
It’s as if the 2010 midterm elections never happened.
It’s as if New York District 9 election never happened.

Barack Obama told supporters this week that “odds are” I’ll get re-elected.
Obama made the remarks in front of 50 supporters at a fundraiser just two days after democrats lost NY9 for the first time in a century.
ABC News reported:

“Over the last couple of months there have been Democrats who voiced concerns and nervousness about, well, in this kind of economy, isn’t this just — aren’t these just huge headwinds in terms of your reelection?” Obama said.

“And I just have to remind people that, here’s one thing I know for certain: the odds of me being reelected are much higher than the odds of me being elected in the first place.”

He must be hearing the grumblings in the progressive camp.
How long before they ask him to sit out the 2012 election?
