Wasserman Schultz and White House Communications Director to Speak at Nutroots Nation

Befuddled DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer will speak at Nutroots Nation this month.
The conference will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 17.
The Politico reported:

With just over a week until the beginning of the Netroots Nation conference, a mecca of sorts for the new media liberal intelligentsia, organizers announced Monday that the White House will be sending communications director Dan Pfeiffer to speak and take questions on June 17.

Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was previously announced to be there. And Jeremy Bird, the national field director for the Obama campaign, will attend.

Last year, Obama spoke to the group by video, an appearance that was unexpected until the day before. This year, there are no official plans to do so, but with the 2012 election under 18 months away, it’s important for Democrats to have this segment of their base energized and in campaign mode.

Meanwhile… Across town Michelle Malkin, Andrew Breitbart, Tim Palenty, Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Thad McCotter and Senator Mike Lee will be speaking at Right Online 2011 on June 17 in Minneapolis.
